Chiropractor

Dr. Kourtney Knox

Maui Chiropractor Dr Kourtney

“At Studio Chiropractic, my mission is simply to offer the most uniquely individualized and professional chiropractic care available. I promote and advocate for the well being of all, while helping each to achieve and maintain their highest quality of life.”

Dr. Kourtney Knox’s first chiropractic adjustment was when she was 16 years old. After just two weeks of regular adjustments, she was completely amazed by the transformation occurring in her body. “At a relatively young and impressionable age, I experienced dramatic changes and improvements in my overall health that I had never known possible,” she says. “From that day on, I knew my path was to become a Chiropractor.” While still just in high school, she attended numerous chiropractic seminars, workshops and retreats. “I began learning about the depth and scope of chiropractic and completely fell in love.”

The philosophy of chiropractic states that the power that made the body heals the body provided there is no interference. “This made sense to me” says Dr. Kourtney. “I imagine how each of us is created as human beings. There is such infinite wisdom within the human body. Here is a profession that believes it and serves it in such a natural yet powerfully effective way.”

Dr. Kourtney attended Montclair State University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. She received her Doctor of Chiropractic from Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, California.

Dr. Kourtney has extensive post graduate training in pre and post natal adjustments for pregnant mothers, as well as infants and children. She is an active ICPA (International Chiropractic Pediatric Association) member and certified in Webster Technique (for Breach Presentation of babies). Dr. Kourtney is a licensed Chiropractor in both Hawaii and Colorado.

I take a solution oriented approach to restoring homeostasis and use any combination of Acupuncture, Oriental Medicine, Massage, Emotional Release, and Nutrition Counseling to meet the needs and demands for today’s society.
